Yoga for the Busy Man: Four Yoga Poses to Help You Relieve Stress

Lower your head and chest towards the ground while simultaneously reaching up with the top of your back as if you were trying to touch them together.

Push into heels and reach toes away from legs for a deeper stretch in the upper body. Hold this pose anywhere between 20-30 seconds (or more!), concentrating on deep breathing throughout.

 

3) Child’s Pose


A child’s pose is an easy way to release tension in the back and spine. This pose also helps with lower back pain, as well as stiffness of joints – which are common problems for busy men who sit at a desk all day! To do this pose correctly:

Start on your knees, with big toes touching each other. Sit back onto heels and bring shins as close to the floor as possible without rolling too far backward (this will help stretch out the lower back). Allow your head to fall forward so that it touches the ground – or come down on all fours if you can’t touch the ground.

Take deep breaths in this pose, and stay for at least 20 seconds.
